Nokia is a company that has ruled the mobile phone market for a long time. Largely because of the wide range of products that the company has launched in the market, the company has become a household name in many countries in the world. That said, however, the company is not going through the best of times. The profits of the company have been going downwards and the company has suffered some setbacks.
But despite of that, the company has not ceased to come out with new products. Nokia 500 is one of the latest devices that have been announced by the company. Does the name sound different? This is because the company has decided to change the naming strategy of its mobile phones. So the E series, C series, N series are all gone now and we won’t see them in future. Instead the new devices will be represented by a three digit number.
Nokia 500 is a decent mid-range smartphone that has a 3.2 inch TFT capacitive touchscreen. The internal storage space is 2 GB and it also has a 32 GB MicroSd slot as well. The device is 3G enabled and has a 5 mega pixel camera. The videos can be recorded at 15 frames per second. The device is powered by 1 GHz processor and runs on Symbian Anna OS. Another good part is that there is a long list of colours that the device will be available in. These include Black, Orange, Pink, Green, Purple etc.
