Nokia C5-00 – Nokia Brings Another Functional Basic Phone

Nokia has yet again made an impression with the its latest offering in the basic phone category Nokia C5-00.Basic phones from Nokia are highly revered and desired by all class of people. This back to basic candy bar phone is highly affordable and comes on board with smartphone like features without putting hole in your pocket.

Nokia C5-00 is the compact phone which comes with dimensions of 112.3 x 46 x 12.3 mm and light weight of only 95 grams. The simple display of the phone is 2.2 inches TFT in nature with resolution of 240 x 320 pixels and whopping support of 16 million colours. On the top of the phone there is 3.5m jack and charging connector of 2mm.

The phone is running on the Symbian OS v9.3, Series 60 rel. 3.2 powered by 600 MHz ARM 11 processor. The cell phone supports various java applications like Document viewer supporting formats like Word, PowerPoint, Excel and PDF. The integrated social networking application allows you to stay connected and get updates from your friends on Facebook, MySpace apps and hi5. Access to internet is provided through GPRS, EDGE and high speed 3G. Assortments like Bluetooth and USB are also present for easy sharing and transfer of data.

Capture amazing pictures through 5MP camera with resolution of 2592?1944 pixels. You can share and upload your photos on various social sites as well. Features in the snapper are fixed focus and LED flash. With flash support the otherwise dull pictures are also rendered bright and colourful. Video recording can be done at 15 frames per second through VGA camera.

Nokia C5-00 comes with the internal memory of 270MB which is expandable to 32GB with 2GB already included via microSD card slot. This space can be used to store various kinds of videos, music and images. Both media player and video playback are supported by the phone. Music formats like MP3/WAV/eAAC+/WMA player and videos of MP4/H.264/H.263 player are supported by the device.
